An AI structure consists of four core components:
- Knowledge Representation: This component stores data and facts as well as the algorithms used to process them. It typically applies various techniques to represent symbolic and numerical information.
- Automated Reasoning: This component uses logical programming techniques to make and process decisions. It is also responsible for managing the data and providing feedback.
- Learning and Adaptation: This component allows the AI to adjust its behavior after experiencing various outcomes. It is responsible for learning from past experiences and adapting its algorithms to improve future performance.
- Natural Language Processing: This component is responsible for understanding human input and responding accordingly. It is also responsible for creating output in the form of spoken or written natural language.
